Roam with a View
An architectural screen element designed for a beach side apartment building derived from patterns of erosion evidenced in surf and rocks near the site and to respond to the brightness of the costal light. It is an exterior façade element providing sun shading and privacy to the apartments behind, “sunglasses for the building”.
The model reinterprets the screen literally as a pair of glasses. An invitation to inhabit the project in a different way, take it off the building and put it on your face.
Punch them out. Fold them up. Put them on and get OUT THERE.
